Malaucène is a typical provençal village located in Provence (South of France) at the foot of Mont Ventoux.
The village itself dates from the tenth century. It features Medieval, Gallic and Roman structures (even prehistoric vestiges).
Much to the delight of visitors, the village is home to a number of sixteenth and seventeenth-century buildings, stone fountains, narrow alleyways and ancient gateways, all of which contribute to the unique charm of Malaucène.
