The lavender harvest was completed by the time of our vacation, so we did not see the heralded Provençal landscape awash in eye-popping purple. The soft grey-green denuded lavender bushes have their own beauty, and still smell sweetly without the flower buds. Dried lavender was available everywhere, yet I somehow did not end up with any. The more I get into photography, the more my photos become my souvenirs. 'la lavande' On Black
